Recently, I have found the world of mental health on social media and the press to be a minefield. So many people are now trying to divide others and try to exert their own opinions on the subject, that we have lost the message. We need to help raise awareness and end mental health stigma, rather than try to focus so much on terminology. I have another podcast that I do with my daughter called Permission to Beat up Dad? please check it out. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/walking-...

I read an interesting article in The Guardian website called : 'Meet my patients who've been left out of the mental health conversation' about how some people with serious mental health conditions are still being ignored and that more awareness is needed of their issues. Is mental health becoming a fashionable thing to talk about? Are we focusing too much on only one aspect of mental health? Something a little different but also linked to mental health. Games can be a good distraction for people who have problems with their mental health. This game - Township, is one that has become hard to put down, but also a great distraction for me. Note - I am not sponsored by this game, nor do I get anything for mentioning them. I just like it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/walking-with-anxiety/message...
