Taking preventive actions, as it relates to our bodies, will prove helpful & healthy, in the long run. Don’t short change yourself. Do things that will increase your wellness. Take care of yourself.

And while you’re getting help, talk to your primary doctor about what supplements would be beneficial for you. Ultimately, it’s your body, and your health.

Not everyone enjoys taking a bath, nor wearing their natural hair, for their own reason(s). But, they both have some positive benefits. Even if you only take 5-15 minutes, because that’s when the water will begin to get colder, taking a bath will free you of the days stress. And wearing your hair natural is not such a foreign thing, like it used to be. I challenge you to do one of the two things or both, and see if you can feel the difference. Radical self care is a must.

We love to watch & support black actors but we have to be careful how those movies affect our moods/mental well-being. We need to be honest about what those movies do to our mental health. We may need to watch those movies at an appropriate time, when we can handle & possibly enjoy the movie. Also, we may want to simply our goals ( breaking them down to baby-steps). so we can realistically, achieve those goals, without giving up on them.

We need to learn to affirm ourselves and to stop letting others dump their emotional destress on you.
We all could use a cry every now and again; don’t be afraid to release those endorphins. And after you’ve had that good cry, work on limiting people from your life who don’t really add value to your way of living/being.

We all need ways to cope in this world, skills that help us regulate our emotions, in a manner that is healthy. Using social media, like all things, should be in moderation, and not to pass judgment. Social media can be a good tool to use, but sometimes, we must take a break from it.
We must validate our experiences and in doing, we validate our existence. Sit in your emotions and process them, and don’t forget to start your day in silence.
