Lt: Šventinė pasaka prasideda, kai sniegas tyliai dengia Kuršių nerijos kopas.
En: The holiday tale begins when snow quietly covers the Kuršių nerija dunes.
Lt: Eglė stovėjo vieniša, stebėdama, kaip bangos ramiai atsimuša į krantą, lyg vėstančios žieminės širdies dūžiai.
En: Eglė stood alone, watching the waves calmly hitting the shore, like the beats of a cooling winter heart.
Lt: Ji jautėsi lyg détachée nuo savo šeimos per Naujųjų metų šventes.
