Episode description

Jessica Robson is the founder of Runtalkrun. After having  struggled with depression, anxiety and bulimia she made the connection that running helped her to be able to better express her feelings along with finding a sense of belonging within a community. This spurred her to start Runtalkrun which is a group of people running together to support one  another without any pressure to compete, perform,  or even pretend that they are ok. This has grown to over 170 different locations around the world and is still growing!

I love how vulnerable Jessica is with her struggles and her journey even in the present tense. She talks about how we often bookmark mental health as something we "struggled" with, and rarely talk about it as something we are currently working through. What she is doing is impacting many people's lives around the world!
