Generally, the kids remain in the family home with the parents taking turns living in the family home and a separate apartment. This child-centered approach gives kids a slower transition into a new family structure.
Many professionals give pause to Nesting as a practice due to the hardship it can be for the parents. KP shares her personal experience as evidence that even with possible challenges, it can be a workable solution for moving the divorce process forward.
