This episode I had the privilege of interviewing and presenting to Ideal Protein Nation, Dr. Linda Anegawa. She is an award-winning physician-educator, writer, and consultant dedicated to the treatment of metabolic and weight-related disease. Her expertise on metabolic and weight-related disease have been featured in US News & World Report, HuffPost, Yahoo News, Women’s Health, and Oprah magazine, among others. Today Dr. Anegawa serves on the Executive Medical Board of Ideal Protein and I couldn’t be more excited about that!! 

I had so much fun hanging out with Dr. A recording this show and I hope you do too! I knew that she and I were kindred spirits from listening to her present during Ideal Protein corporate events and most recently the Great Reset Virtual Event that Ideal Protein produced last month! However, it was absolutely confirmed when she described attending a medical obesity conference as if it were a Metallica concert!! I totally understood her excitement about finally finding a way to help her patients “get healthier” instead of simply “managing their decline” and wanting to rush the stage after a presentation! I love Dr. A’s depth of understanding of both the science and mental/emotional aspects of obesity, weight loss and long-term lifestyle change!

First, we discuss how the Ideal protein protocol is actually a “Lifestyle Program” and is such a different approach metabolically than other weight loss programs.
