Then there are other folks who are fine with making $100,000 or so in total revenues every year.

And still, there are those business owners who are content making $50,000 or less annually, so long as they're covering their expenses.

Which of the above is the right way to look at business?

The answer... all of them are potentially correct, as long as the owner understands the value and expectation before of the decision.

To make more money, the owner may need to be spending many more hours or hire more people. To earn less, the owner may want a more lifestyle-friendly business allowing them to spend more time with friends and family.
