ABOUT JULIE CANE
Julie Cane, CEO and co-founder of Democracy Investments, aims to promote democracy and influence capital flows in financial markets. With the exclusive license of The Economist's Democracy Index, their firm manages the Democracy International Fund ETF (ticker DMCY). By tilting the portfolio toward democracies and away from authoritarians, they seek to decrease the cost of capital for democracies and encourage democratic reforms.
Julie's extensive financial services background includes notable roles at Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab Advisor Services, SEI Investments, and Autodesk Ventures. She is a former U.S. Naval Aviator with a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School.
