Noor Alexandria Abukaram is a 17-year-old who runs on Ohio’s Sylvania Northview High School cross country team. Search her name and you'll find thousands of results because last year Noor went viral for being disqualified from a race for wearing a hijab. From the NY Times to Huffington Post to Sports Illustrated and most recently Runners World. Noor has worked with Ohio Senator Theresa Gavarone on the bill SB 288 to address religious discrimination in sports.
