My Queer Dreams (hotel, outside, & elevator)
A fun dream about some time with friends, some from real life and some I don’t know.

A fun dream about some time with friends, some from real life and some I don’t know.
I added in a bonus dream.
I still remember pieces of this dream.
I hope someone can make more sense of this queer dream than I can.
I’m reading through some dreams I’ve journaled about. Let me know if you like this short series and I’ll continue. That is, if I can dream up enough queer content:)
I’ve been noticing some formal events popping up that seem like they might be ideal for lgbtq+ and gender non conforming people.
Here I talk about a recent Jelie interview (of Kickback Couture YouTube channel). I happened across this Reason Studios episode recently and it is about 1 year old by one of my favorite Black, LGBTQ+, female producers. I am so inspired by young aged millennial and Gen Z entrepreneurs, especially LGBTQ+ and gender representative talent. Check out some links: JELIE (main site): https://jelie303.com/home JELIE'S IG: @jelie303 JELIE'S YOUTUBE REASON STUDIOS AND OTHER PRODUCTION TUTORIALS: https://yo...

She also sings very good and is very talented at her craft. ASHLEY GAVIN: https://youtu.be/btA4afqsDNc
A ramble and brainstorm.

Positive thoughts on this episode.
Spas and gender.
We all are impacted by the changes in our societies. For myself I’ve noticed it even changed how I socialize, dating, eating, exercise routines, desires, motivation and everything in between. How have you been impacted lately? And what do you do to maintain a healthy balance while constantly needing to adjust since early 2020?
(Sorry I thought I had published this on Wednesday). This topic has some overlap of other episodes but I was thinking this through from specific actual examples of my parents since in our household we don’t have much of a discussion.
Awesome sex positive content with good comedic delivery and a lot of diversity dynamics.
I finally got it! But today I tested negative and I feel fine. You may have noticed I’ve been less engaged lately. That’s why.
Post Black Pride after thoughts and the complex dynamics of race, ethnicity and LGBTQ+ spaces. Good for thought and personal experiences as well as complexities of questions.
The complexities of the ego and impacts on workplace comfort.
Substances Tidbits (how to tell if substances may be a problem and societal views about taboos). Here we talk about potential lifestyle stressors leading people to choose certain substances and societal views of what is acceptable and what is more taboo.
Work Relationships and Ego (processing speeds, productivity, taking time off, work-life balance). Often times we are conflicted between what we need for ourselves and what our work needs from us.
Black Pride (race and ethnicity, privilege, racism, prejudice). We can see challenges already with trying to define race and ethnicity. How we look versus how we are treated can be impacting and can lead to privilege, racism, prejudice, and everything in between. The LGBTQ+ community in addition to sexual and gender minorities also is made of racial and ethnic minorities. Here we discuss some of the complexities (I talk about my personal experiences and opinions, this was recorded while driving ...
Relationships and Internal Dynamics [self-esteem, perception, self-talk, & dating]. (This is a working title). For once I jump into the topic, and on a weekday morning! I may break this down into separate topics and I’m likely going to be writing on related topics on the blog (www.tomboyofficial.blogspot.com). The goal here is to discuss themes I experience or themes others tell me about in relationships and applying them to dating as well. I hope it creates a sense of hope and sparks new po...
Some methods leading to better communication.
This book contains a lot of good tips and methods for self development.
So I found some of my weekly reflection papers from human sexuality course from grad school. I did not review before reading. I’m glad I found these and I’ll be searching for more.
How to reflect on your past history of understanding your sexuality and gender identity.
Protecting sleep and energy.
Do you ever notice how creativity and creating art work is very fulfilling to the soul? Even if you aren’t good or skilled or knowledgeable we now more than ever have access at the least to online live streams of music, tutorials, free production software. And for other types of art there are digital software packages for sculpting, drawing, and 3D modeling. Get creative and pour some emotions into an art form and regardless the end product you will likely notice something further about your emo...
Time to unpack and study our social patterns. These change time to time. They can be altered by culture, lifestyle changes (graduating school, changing jobs), economic changes. And more! Try and identify the most recent day, week and if there are holes, barriers or unmet needs.
Back to the basics. Everything impacts something else. At your own preferred pace you can start to feel more on track. Identify the areas of the most struggle, for me I have them listed as sleep, wake, energy and mood. These are my major focuses lately. And I try and ground with spiritual practices and nourishment of deep breathing, food, nature, music, art/craft.
