It’s September 1, and it’s time to take command of the incredible ability we all have to change our own minds. Today, we talk about self-directed neuroplasticity, what we can learn from Augustine of Hippo, and how to be a good self-brain surgeon.

I’d rather be the first domino than the last one
What I am actually doing is what I am getting better at
I will either take charge of shaping my brain, or it will be shaped for me be circumstances, emotions, or other people
