Mood Prep 059: Rock the fuck up
Whatever it is, a relationship, a job interview, a training session, rock the fuck up like you're meant to be there. How you show up in the world matters.

Whatever it is, a relationship, a job interview, a training session, rock the fuck up like you're meant to be there. How you show up in the world matters.
What we want most will be found where we least want to look. Back yourself. Face your dragon. Your treasure is beyond the beast inside you. You just have to go into a dark cave to find it.
I know you think you are, but are you really? I mean, really listening... With the goal to understand, not to impress. With the intention of being there with them, not for them. There is a big difference and a lot of people miss the mark when it comes to real listening...
I mean, you should, you should give a fuck. But just be selective about the distribution of said fucks. Mr. Mark Manson knows what I am talking about. I cover off 3 different ways to give less fucks. Enjoy.. Or don't... Idgaf :) Okay, maybe i do just a little...
The solution is simple. It is us that complicates it. What does food mean to us and what does money mean to us? This will determine everything...
The world is changing rapidly and if you ain't hustling then are you really working? If you ain't vlogging then are you really trying to get ahead? The Hustle gets you ahead, but it is only half of the story. There's the other side of the Hustle... It's just not as sexy to sell...
It never arrives. It never comes. Life is a movie not a picture of achievement somewhere off in the distant future. There is a big difference.
Listen to Rage Against The Machine. ..and this podcast.. It starts with awareness, then questions and then trusting yourself. Easy right?
I do my best to answer this question in 10 minutes. Being a good man isn't about building a career or being a good leader. It starts with being a moral individual. It means to be a contribute. To undserstand your feminine side and to integrate it. It means to be whole and to move toward that which is difficult both outside and more imporantly inside of us. I would love to hear your thoughts.
In this episode I catch up with my dear friend and business partner Myfanwy Galloway or better known as MyffyG. In this episode we discuss: - The masculine and the feminine and their role in leadership and the workplace - The strength in vulnerability - What injuries can teach us Enjoy!
It is not just the story that we tell ourselves that stop's us. It is thinking that we are our past. That we are our failures. That we are every time we fucked up. You're not that. Playing small serves no one.. Time to back yourself.

Nobody ever hurts someone from a place of happiness. True maturity isn't hurting them back. True maturity is understanding why their hurt you in the first place.
There is only so long you can boot strap something for. At some point you have to make the leap and invest. Invest time, money, faith and energy into turning pro. Enough ametuer crap, it may be time to become a grandmaster..
This title is prett self explanatory. A simple step by step podcast on how to kick today in the dick! Enjoy!
If what you are stressing about won't matter in 5 years then don't give it 5 minutes. Too often people steal happiness in the moment by creaint worst case scenarios about the future that never end up happening. Life is too short to stress about that shit. Life goes on, man.

Say it with me; There's no such thing as plateaus.. For years I would teach people to just "freelance" and "shock the body" to try and shake off a plateau. Later in my coaching years I learnt that majority of "plateaus" aren't even plateaus. It just stopped coming so easy and it's where the real work kicked in. But there was something else I lernt too....
There is a pretty big Self Love movement happening right now.. And I am on board with it... Kind of.. We kind of have it all wrong... And here's why..
The media wants you to think that times are bad. Sure they are uncertain. But name a time when things were ever certain in the world... This episode talks about how the future is only reserved for those able to live in the present and how to jump off the rat wheel and actually live. Not for everyone, but I know this will resonate with some.
Often people get caught up in the problem. Not realising that by shifting the way we view the problem, we can ask a deliberate set of questions that can lead us to a solution. All problems are simply questions if framed correctly. This is also a good technique for those who struggle with journaling.
People often talk about how important goal setting is and there are countless lists, blogs, youtube videos and podcasts that tell you how you should do it. Most of them miss out on something that is almost more important than the goal itself. Your beliefs. Often you hitting the goal has very little to do with the goal itself and more to do with what you believe to be true about yourself.
This is episode 1 of 2 with Richard Acevas from StrongFit. Rich and I got to spend a fair bit of time together while he was in town. He is insights into health and fitness make you think twice about what really is important and what really is worth pursuing. Enjoy!
Don't sell out to societal norms. Listen to the muse. A lot of peoples salaries are just hush money for their dreams.
The best worst advice I have ever received; stop trying. Stop trying to impress people. Stop trying to be authentic. Stop trying to improve at your job. Stop trying to get fit. Just stop. And here's why.
Our identity has more control over us then we often realise. The identity that got you to where you are is likely not the one that will get you to where you want to be. The underdog or the champion? What do you really want?
I will be the first to admit, I don't like the fitness industry. After 14 years I have seen both the good and the bad and the down right disgraceful. We sacrafice progression for results. Create short term strength "athletes" in sacrafice for long term movement. I don't care about the 12 week transformation. I care about the 3 year email.
The 6 human needs is just one topic that I cover in my 'Connected Coaching' seminars and 'Next Level' Internships. The sixth, and second of the spirituality needs, is a need that can not be bought or traded. It is one I learnt about and understood fully at one of my best friends funeral. This may be the most important need of all.. Listen to the podcast to learn more!
Introducing a brand new segment to the podcast called 'Musings'. From time to time I will feature freinds, personalities, experts and professionals on topics that i find interesting and literally share the microphone with them. These will be more conversational than simply just interviewing them. Today is the very first episode of 'Musings' and I am excited to say that I have an absolute legend of a guest in Julien Pineau, the creator of StrongFit. We discus topics such as: - Psychology and its ...
The 6 human needs is just one topic that I cover in my 'Connected Coaching' seminars and 'Next Level' Internships. The fifth, and first of the spirituality needs, is a need that comes from within anyone who is wanting to extend themselves, test themselves and to become more in the world.
