Moulud, die als Kind aus Afghanistan fliehen musste, fand in Berlin eine neue Heimat und traf später ihre Tante Negin, die ebenfalls nach Deutschland kam. Negin, die ein konservatives Leben gewohnt war, war anfangs von den Freiheiten in Deutschland überrascht. Moulud beschloss, ihr den Christopher Street Day zu zeigen und dessen Bedeutung zu erklären. Bei der Parade war Negin zutiefst berührt von der offenen Zuneigung und dem Gefühl der Freiheit, was in Tränen der Freude und einem neuen Gefühl der Befreiung mündete.
