This week we have such a great interview with Adam Robinson. He has a lot of great stories, his perspective on his goals and focusing on the process verses outcome.
This week I think all athletes can take something away from. First we are looking at a study (survey) that examined perfectionism and how you perceive staying regimented and "perfect." Then the team is talking about heat acclimation and intensity of workouts in the heat.
This week we are back with long time athlete, Coree Rountree. She has been around the community for a very long time, usually fairly silent but she is definitely an OG in the GGA world.
This week we have a very quick study on music and the effect of listening music just between sets, not during, can help increase performance. Then we have a DEEP dive review in Fiber Fuel. We start with the negatives but them move to the positives and overall this was a very good book for the team and started a lot of dialogue about fiber.
Our next 12 week cycle starts next week! always a perfect time to join. We also have some big updates like having kettlebell and sandbag variations to our Hard to Kill track. No barbells needed!
We have a unique study this week and our discussions on it. This study looked at how three different groups estimated their calorie consumption and which groups were most successful. Then we have our first group AMA (ask me anything) about being in a calorie deficit and losing strength.
