Secret to Overcoming Anxiety (Paradoxical Intention)

"Man's Search for Meaning" taught me a very valuable trick for overcoming anticipatory anxiety. It's called paradoxical intention and it's basically leaning into what you're afraid of. It's being ok with having your fear come true but even worse. By accepting this, it paradoxically relieves you of the anxiety, thus you're free from the negative result. I got so much energy and I'm super pumped for tomorrow! Still gotta be careful with my knee but I'm feeling GREAT! Workouts are on point and I'm really in a good routine. Talking with other's it's really evident how a consistent bedtime is the most important step in starting a good routine. Dunk Tip 4/5 Overview of my current diet and my best tips. I like intermittent fasting as it keeps my gut biome healthy and my energy is super consistent. I fuel up the night before a big workout with chicken quinoa and avocado (the usual) in the mornings, I just have black coffee before my workout. Active Recovery

Big workout yesterday, getting that good elastic stimulus while I don't have a court to dunk on. Leaving tomorrow and looking forward to getting back into my routine! On days after you work hard, I find it very important to move my body a little. I definitely need to get blood flowing and keep everything moving in full range of motion. Stay active, keep learning about your body so you can create the proper stimulus and not overdo it. ENJOY YOUR DAY!
