Metacast Brand Guidelines

If you want to link to Metacast or feature our brand in any of your materials, please use the following guidelines and assets.

Spelling

Please spell Metacast as a single word, with a capital "M" and letter "c" or entirely in letter case with the parentheses around the name — ((metacast)).

  • ✅ Metacast
  • ✅ ((metacast))
  • ❌ MetaCast
  • ❌ Meta Cast

Our logo is a stylized m in parentheses. The parentheses are a reference to radio broadcasting and symbolize sound waves. Learn more about the story of the brand in our post on LinkedIn.

Listen on Metacast badges

"Listen on Metacast" badges in both light and dark color schemes are available in Nathan Gathright's Podcast Badges repository that you can use for badges for popular podcast apps.

If you want to link to your podcast page on Metacast, you can add it in two ways:

  1. Simply copy the URL of the podcast
  2. Create a URL using your podcast's Apple iTunes ID: https://metacast.app/itunes/1649447583 (replace the numbers with your podcast's iTunes ID). Read more about linking to podcast apps on our blog.

Add private podcasts to Metacast with a single click/tap

If you offer private feeds to your listeners, you can help them add RSS feeds to Metacast with a single tap.

  • Create URLs in the following format:

    https://open.metacast.app/add-rss-feed?feedUrl=PODCAST_URL

    For example:

    https://open.metacast.app/add-rss-feed?feedUrl=https://feeds.transistor.fm/metacast-behind-the-scenes
  • The PODCAST_URL can be URL-encoded or not – it's up to you

  • Add a link to the page where your listeners subscribe to private feeds
