Episode description
Dunn Street founder Stephen Donnelly was joined by NSW Labor’s Shadow spokesperson for the Environment and Member for Port Stephens, Kate Washington.
Kate has been campaigning against the NSW Government’s poor environmental policies, in particular, stopping the expansion of the Brandy Hill Quarry, which is set to wipe out 52 hectares of koala habitat.
Kate unpacks the week in parliament where NSW National’s tried to bring down their own government, and she also talks about the important work being done in the Hunter to provide sustainable job security for her community in the switch to clean energy.
