In Israel this week the right wing coalition government led by Benjamin Netenyahu voted to cut the powers of the independent judiciary, ignoring months of weekly protests by 100,000s of progressive citizens.
Will Cubbison joins us from Israel to discuss the drama from inside Knesset and on the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and the implications this policy will have on the only liberal democracy in the region, as well as what it means for Palestianians, Arab Israelis, the broad left and the Israeli economy.
