Emma and David unpack the week that was including the first leaders debate which was held in Queensland on Wednesday night. They discuss the risks and rewards these debates have on the campaign, as well as analyse the performance of both leaders.
They also give their thoughts into the advertising strategy of both parties, the impact the deal between the Solomon Islands and China would have on the Coalition’s image, current polling numbers, and the media’s election coverage (including this week’s Tory with a Typewriter award).
