Episode description
EPISODE #371-- Happy Black History Month! While we're a little late to the party, for the next four weeks we'll be commemorating African-American history by watching movies by, from, about, and/or staring black talent.
Our inaugural installment will be the musical/biopic/propaganda piece KRUSH GROOVE, which details the highly fictional rise (and rise) of Def Jam Records from 1985.
We also talk about THE ROVER, Altman's THE LONG GOODBYE, WE'RE NO ANGELS (1955), and Netflix's THE IRISHMAN (of all things).

You can watch Cruz and show favorite Alexis Simpson on You Tube in "They Live Together." Thanks to our artists Julius Tanag (http://www.juliustanag.com) and Sef Joosten (http://spexdoodles.tumblr.com). The theme music is "Eine Kleine Sheissemusik" by Drew Alexander.
