Overview
In this episode, I got to chat with my friend and fellow podcast host, Hayley Spira-Bauer, Chief Academic Officer at iTutor and host of the Learning Can’t Wait podcast. During this chat, Hayley and I talked about how iTutor’s team of educators, administrators, operators, and international professionals united around supporting all learners. iTutor provides the educator support institutions need as this sector continues to mitigate shortages. iTutor really makes people’s job easier and puts the focus back on what’s most important, our learners. It’s time to grab those headphones and tune in to Episode 58.
More About Hayley Spira - Bauer
Hayley Spira-Bauer is a passionate educator and advocates with guts. She is a trained elementary school teacher. She began her career through an alternative certification program called Teach for America but continued in the classroom and has taught students from kindergarten through 8th grade. If she had to pick a favorite, Hayley will tell you she most enjoyed teaching 5th grade in a middle school for four years, helping hundreds of kids to fall in love with reading. Hayley founded a New York City elementary school during her time in the classroom. Eventually, she began supporting teachers as a school leader at both the elementary and middle school levels. Today, in her day job as Chief Academic Officer at iTutor.com, Hayley has her hands on the wheel of education evolution, helping schools across the US expand their reach by recruiting and training top-notch teachers to serve all types of learners.
