In this week's episode, Hurricane Barbara bears down on Springfield. After it passes, the only damage one to the town whatsoever is to the Flanders' house which is completely destroyed. After the resident's of Springfield somewhat lovingly restore his house, it's knocked down again and Flanders flips out on everyone and is committed to a mental institution. We then get the back story of Flanders' anger issues, and see him overcome these issues once again to reintegrate into society.
