Episode description
Long ago in Thebes, the keeper of the dead Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) decides to risk it all with the Pharaoh's main squeeze Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez). They are foiled of course and Imhotep is entombed alive under the curse of the Hom-Dai never to be released. After 3,000 years Jonathan Carnahan (John Hannah) brings a mysterious key to his librarian sister Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) who finds a map to the city of Hamunaptra inside. With the reluctant help of rough and ready boots, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) they set out to find the treasures they seek. It won't be easy, they have to beat a team of Americans led by skeezy Beni (Kevin J. O'Connor), dodge the magi led by tall, dark and tattooed Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) and face off against an ancient curse when they resurrect The Mummy.
