Episode description

Four college friends graduate with high hopes, bright futures, and excitement for what the world has in store for them. As things often happen, they lose touch until Valedictorian, Cynthia (Stockard Channing) chooses to end her life, reuniting her friends Annie (Diane Keaton), Brenda (Bette Midler) and Elise (Goldie Hawn) at her funeral. While catching up the trio realizes that each of them has lost a husband to a younger gal. Aaron (gross, no) to couples therapist Dr. Rosen (Marcia Gay Harden), Morty (Dan Hedaya) to social climber Shelly (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Bill (Victor Garber) to YOUNG actress Phoebe (Elizabeth Berkley). With the help of a few good friends, family (Bronson Pinchot, Maggie Smith, Jennifer Dundas, Eileen Heckart), and dear uncle Carmine (Philip Bosco) our heroes will serve justice and then the greater community in The First Wives Club. We'll toast to that, this week on Doom Generation!
