Seymour Krelborne (Rick Moranis) is living down on skid row, trying to make it somewhere that's green with his paramour Audrey (Ellen Greene) who has a nogoodnik boyfriend, Orin Scrivello DDS (Steve Martin). With the help of an alien plant he names Audrey II (Levi Stubbs), he rises to fame from his humble beginnings at Mushnik's (Vincent Gardenia) he soon learns the secret of Twoey's success which happens to be human blood and is taken along on a mission for world domination.
