Episode description
They say you never know what's going on behind closed doors, Fool (Brandon Quintin Adams) and his sister Ruby (Kelly Jo Minter) have a deathly ill mother and an eviction notice to deal with complicated by a lack of funds. Ruby's boyfriend Leroy (Ving Rhames) has a plan though. He's heard of a fortune hiding inside the house of their mysterious landlords. After scoping out the house, accomplice Spenser (Jeremy Roberts) disappears, prompting Leroy and Fool to follow into the booby trapped house guarded by Prince the Rottweiler. Fool meets Alice (AJ Langer), who's never been outside and Roach (Sean Whalen), a tongue-less captive who's escaped into the walls. When Mommy and Daddy (Everett McGill and Wendy Robie) arrive home to clean house, Fool barely escapes with his life and proof of the fortune inside which actives Grandpa (Joe probably) Booker (Bill Cobbs) who says it's enough to save his mother and leave all this behind. Fool made a promise though, he must go back to not only rescue Alice and Roach ,but also Zombie Whitfield Crane and the rest of The People Under the Stairs.
