Lt: Į Vilniaus priemestį atėjo netikėta tyla.
En: An unexpected silence descended upon the outskirts of Vilnius.
Lt: Aistė, vieniša mama, grįžo namo.
En: Aistė, a single mother, returned home.
Lt: Ji jautėsi pavargusi po ilgos darbo dienos.
En: She felt tired after a long day at work.
Lt: Užpuolusi jos namo elektros neveikla, viskas tapo dar sudėtingiau.
En: The power outage in her home made everything even more complicated.
Lt: Viskas prasidėjo kaip bet kuri kita vasaros diena, tačiau dabar visa kaimynystė skendėjo tamsoje.
En: The day had started like any other summer day, but now the entire neighborhood was engulfed in darkness.

Lt: Laima šypsodamasi padėjo jai rasti keletą žvakių ir žibintų.
En: Smiling, Laima helped her find a few candles and lanterns.
Lt: Ji taip pat pasiūlė kartu su kaimynais spręsti situaciją.
En: She also suggested solving the situation together with the neighbors.
Lt: Kaimynystė ėmė telkti pajėgas - visi rūpinosi vieni kitais ir dalijosi ištekliais.
En: The community began to pool its resources – everyone took care of each other and shared what they had.
Lt: Vienas iš kaimynų, Jonas, turėjo nedidelį generatorių.
En: One of the neighbors, Jonas, had a small generator.
Lt: Kartu su kitais kaimynais jis pradėjo jį naudoti tam, kad būtų bent laikinai sprendžiama elektros dingimo problema.
