Lt: Saulė švietė virš Trakų pilies, dangus buvo mėlynas.
En: The sun was shining over Trakai Castle, and the sky was blue.
Lt: Rūta ir Mantas atėjo į seną pilį.
En: Rūta and Mantas came to the old castle.
Lt: Jie turėjo gerą nuotaiką.
En: They were in a good mood.
Lt: Pilis buvo graži: raudoni mūrai ir žaliai bagsta žolė aplink.
En: The castle was beautiful: red walls and green grass around it.
Lt: "Žiūrėk, kokia graži pilis," pasakė Rūta.
En: “Look, how beautiful the castle is,” said Rūta.
Lt: Ji norėjo pamatyti viską.
En: She wanted to see everything.
Lt: Jie vaikščiojo ant nelygių akmenų.
En: They walked on the uneven stones.
Lt: Staiga Rūta paslydo.
En: Suddenly, Rūta slipped.
Lt: "Oi!" sušuko ji.
En: “Oh!” she exclaimed.
Lt: Mantas greitai prie jos pribėgo.
En: Mantas quickly ran to her.

Lt: Trakų pilies gidas juos pamatė ir priėjo.

Lt: „Man skauda čiurną,“ atsakė Rūta.
En: “My ankle hurts,” Rūta replied.
Lt: Gidas nusišypsojo draugiškai.
En: The guide smiled friendly.
Lt: "Nesijaudink, mes turime vaistinėlę."
En: "Don’t worry, we have a first aid kit."
Lt: Jie atvedė Rūtą į sargybos namelį.
En: They brought Rūta to the guardhouse.
Lt: Gidas atnešė ledą ir tvarstį.
En: The guide got some ice and a bandage.
Lt: "Pailsėsi čia," sakė jis.
En: "Rest here," he said.
Lt: "Po to galėsime kviesti taksi, kad nuvežtų tave namo."
En: "After that, we can call a taxi to take you home."
Lt: Rūta atsipalaidavo, o Mantas ramiai sėdėjo šalia jos.
En: Rūta relaxed, and Mantas sat quietly next to her.
Lt: Jie žiūrėjo į senovinę pilį pro langą.
En: They looked at the ancient castle through the window.
Lt: "Kada nors vėl grįšime," pasakė Mantas.
En: "Someday we’ll come back again," said Mantas.
Lt: Rūta nusišypsojo: "Taip, ir tada būsime atsargesni."
En: Rūta smiled: “Yes, and then we’ll be more careful.”
Lt: Po kiek laiko atėjo taksi.
En: After a while, the taxi arrived.
Lt: Vairuotojas buvo draugiškas ir padėjo Rūtai įlipti.
En: The driver was friendly and helped Rūta get in.
Lt: Mantas sušuko gidui: "Ačiū labai!"
En: Mantas shouted to the guide: “Thank you very much!”
Lt: Gidas pamojo ranka: "Greitai pasveik!"
En: The guide waved: “Get well soon!”
Lt: Kelionė buvo rami.
En: The journey was calm.
Lt: Mantas padėjo Rūtai eiti iki namų durų.
En: Mantas helped Rūta walk to their home’s door.
Lt: Jie abu jautėsi pavargę, bet džiaugėsi, kad viskas baigėsi gerai.
En: They both felt tired but were glad that everything ended well.
Lt: "Kojai pailsėti, o mes pažiūrėsime filmą," pasiūlė Mantas.
En: “Let your ankle rest, and we’ll watch a movie,” suggested Mantas.
