Episode description
In Carol Dweck's book, "Mindset," tennis legend John McEnroe said that he used to throw temper tantrums during a match because his mind was so fixed...so rigid, that he didn't know how to regain his footing once he began to lose...so he did the only thing he knew to do...yell, scream, and smash rackets. By his own admission, he wished he would've instead played a team sport in order to mask his deficiencies and weaknesses. Sales, like Life is not a team sport. Sure, you do need others, but the push-offs, recoveries, and ultimate results are yours and yours alone.
