Built back in the 1750’s, the Aquia Church once counted American founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson and George Mason among its members, boasting a rich history; but that history is frequently overshadowed by some of the tragedies along the way– one of which seems to be the source for a local legend that claims the Aquia Church is one of the most haunted places of worship in the country.
