Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the armor of God, not that it's already on or we are born with it. We have to physically put it on ourselves each day. It's a choice! Verse 16 tells us to take up a shield of faith so that we can extinguish the darts of the enemy. I love this so much because it's basically telling us that we will have attacks from the enemy but if we choose to put on the shield of faith we can overcome!
