Open Assembly, the global authority on open talent and open innovation, announces the merging of Re-source, one of Europe’s leading open talent and human cloud advisors, into the organization. The collaboration adds consulting expertise to Open Assembly’s thought leadership and convenings, and strengthens Open Assembly as the industry’s go to location for businesses’ adoption of open talent including freelancing, crowdsourcing, open innovation, and the gig economy.
The partnership marks Open Assembly’s expansion of its consulting services as well as growth into the European market. This serves as a major expansion milestone as the merged entities develop additional services in research, benchmarking, training and digital products in 2022.
As part of the merger Open Assembly’s founder John Winsor becomes Chairman and Barry Matthews, Re-source’s, founder becomes CEO. The team is joined by Bryn Barlow who will lead the consulting business and Eleanor Matthews who will lead Research and Membership Services. The new management team has an impressive track record of business success including the formation, growth and exit of multiple research based consulting businesses.
