Episode description
On the 16th of August 1980, 11 year old friends John Greenwood and Gary Miller were out playing in their local neighbourhood of Whiston in Merseyside. Later that evening their beaten bodies were found underneath a mattress by a passerby. The community were horrified and wanted answers. A man was arrested and went to trial for the murders but this did not go as planned. Just this year, police and the families have stated they want to take this same man to trial again.Important information provided by:
