Today we welcome Brajan Gruda, the exciting young attacking midfielder who joined us from Bundesliga side Mainz last summer.
With an impressive mix of versatility and skill, Brajan was recently called up to Germany’s senior squad – a testament to his growing reputation.
His journey with Brighton got off to a slower start than expected, as he arrived nursing an injury but when he made his Premier League debut last October, coming on as a late substitute in the thrilling 3-2 win over Spurs, he showed glimpses of the magic that’s made him such a coveted talent.
Fabian Hurzeler puts it best: ‘He’s like a boy from the street. He likes to dribble, he likes to have the ball at his feet, he can do special things.’
