Learning about and understanding the intentions of our hearts is hard sometimes. But the Word of God confronts us in such an understanding way. He knows our thoughts and intentions. He wants us to do things for the right reasons. However, even in ministry, we can do great things but do them for the wrong reasons. When we are working in ministry and helping at church, we can experience "burnout." Many times this can be because we are desiring success more than we are desiring God.
