Quite a few people get burned out serving in ministry. This is often a sign of worshipping the work over the Lord. It's easy to slip into doing it all on your own and saying all of the right phrases. Eventually, the fruit of our motives is revealed. Remember, in the presence of God is the fullness of joy and the joy of the Lord is our strength. So, "burnout" as we know it should not be the side effect of sincere and consistent worship of God as we follow his lead in all we do.
