Episode description

Sylvia Jefferies used to do pretend commercials and sing songs from The Muppet Show and Fame to her stuffed animals before she risked it all and moved to New York City to audition for The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. When she completed her time there, having odd jobs that gave her insurance and 800number so that she could call her Mama, she left and began her carnie life moving where the acting jobs were.

From New York to New Orleans and to Los Angeles, where she met a baby with no eyebrows(Bailey), and the Mama of the baby with no eyebrows (Brook), at a beautiful Latin lady’s pool party, her instincts have never failed her. Sylvia is most known for roles where she doesn’t get to brush her hair and is ‘“less than socially acceptable” like Tracy on HBO’s Eastbound and Down, Jolene on ABC’s Nashville, the Once Beautiful Woman in the feature film, Shaft, Rob Zombie’s bloody victims Misty Dawn in Halloween 2 and Heather Starship Galen in Three From Hell, and other roles that her very southern mother wishes she could let her old lady friends watch. Aside from the few Hallmark Christmas movies where she actually had her hair brushed, Sylvia gets to wear clothes AND makeup in her new project, The Game, which she is currently filming in Atlanta.
