Episode description

As some of you may know, last year I moved from America to Italy for 6 months. With a drastic change of that measure, there of course lies layers of lessons. In this episode I dive into some profound lessons learned from trading the "American Dream" for an Italian adventure. In this episode, I unravel the complexities of cultural immersion and discuss the contrast between the ease of living in America and the adjustments needed to reside in Italy.

Through my adventures I have learned that your mind is a relentless traveler, accompanying you across oceans and continents, shaping your experiences in unexpected ways. It doesn't matter where you run to or where you try to hide, your mind is always with you.

I also dive into the intricacies of maintaining friendships across the pond, unveiling the bittersweet reality of distance and the power of connection- you must water the relationships you wish to grow.

Amongst a few more lessons, resides my most powerful- the idea of accessibility and ease that comes with a life in America. Here, if you want it you get it. In the small Italian town I lived in, that certainly was not the case. I had to re-learn not to over-indulge or be gluttonous as I made my way back to America where options are aplenty. Join me in this very fun & very personal episode!
