In this episode, we dive into the two types of motivation we experience—and how to manage the lack of it! First, we tackle the things we need to stay motivated for, like healthy eating, breathwork, hitting the gym, or showing up for work. These are the essential tasks that require discipline, even when we don’t feel like doing them.
Then, we explore the opposite side—the things we want to do, like passion projects, creative endeavors, or pursuing love interests. These are the activities that should bring us joy, but when we don’t see the energy we expect (or worse, receive nothing in return), motivation can dwindle fast.
In this episode, I share how to navigate the space when motivation is lost and how to embrace acceptance—trusting that what we put into the world will eventually come back.
We’ll talk about reframing your perspective on motivation, zooming out to see the bigger picture, and making life more fun and fulfilling. I’ll also dive into the importance of remembering your why and reconnecting to the root of your motivation to fuel your journey.
I also discuss the Universe’s timing and how it often differs from our own. When you put something out there, you can’t predict how or when it will return—whether it’s in the form, shape, or timing you expect. The key is to trust that it will come back, even if it’s not in the way you imagined.
Stay tuned until the end for an accidental mini motivational speech on why you should never give up—you deserve to keep going!
