Episode description

We’ve all experienced disappointment at some point in our lives. And oftentimes, a friend or parent tells us “next time...  don’t get your hopes up.”

Is this actually the way to live your best life? Should your priority be to avoid disappointment?

Of course not! Disappointment is a part of our life. What disappointment means to me is that I went for it. It means that I am all-in on reaching my full potential. And I’m okay with disappointment being along for the ride.

In today’s episode of the Spark Your Light Podcast, we’ll discuss:

  • The butterfly effect
  • Learning to trust the things you’re not able to see
  • When expectations are planned disappointments
  • How can you get your hopes up and not be disappointed
  • Why it’s safe to get your hopes up
