Ishara is a Human Geographer who focuses on systemic change through community engagement, social justice advocacy and systems impact measurement. Ishara is passionate about co-designing experiences, programs or systems that leave a positive & lasting impact on communities and the environment. They are skilled at transforming human emotions and socio-cultural motivations into tangible outcomes that can be easily evaluated for its impact. Leading the impact evaluation, reporting and storytelling sphere of Echo Impact Group, Ishara works closely with stakeholders, community leaders and members to understand the full depth & breadth of social complexity & change brought upon by external factors (programs, services, funding, policies, cultural processes etc). Ishara is committed to reflecting truth, lived experiences and justice through storytelling and evaluation approaches that ensures systems accountability and transparency for positive impact.
