Episode description

We live in interesting times indeed. Social and civil unrest. Global instability. Economic hardships for many. A government that seem unresponsive and ill-equipped to deal with the most pressing needs of its people. State-sanctioned police violence. And to make matters worst, a global pandemic that has taken at least 180,000 of our people here in America. Let's be honest, shit was hard before Covid hit. Things are significantly harder now. In this episode we breakdown what's going when it comes to this deadly disease and it's financial and social impact on marginalized communities. We also cover how it's affecting the education of our children, health outcomes, and housing and evictions.

Why does it seem like so many people are having COVID parties and is the government response correct or too much? And how did "protests" (Our First Amendment Right) become a function that needed to be added to the list of things we're not allowed to do under new COVID restriction rules?

We talk about all these topics and a whole lot more including our Activists Highlight section where we cover awesome people doing great work in their communities. This episode was a good one. Please give it a listen. Always on time and never late, thanks so much for hanging with us and we unlearn the BS and relearn the Good Stuff.
