Episode description
So much has been going on in the last few weeks, few days, and few hours. News and events are coming at us with rapid speed. Through all of this we must remember that it's crucial to keep self-care at the forefront of your mind and daily activities. In this episode we cover some very tragic and tough topics including missing children in Atlanta, police uneven responses to protests depending on who is protesting and the suspected Kenosha, Wisconsin protest shooter. Why did an RNC speaker say it was OK if her Black child was racially profiled by the police? We say the names, "Jay Anderson" and "Deborah Danner" and pay a special tribute to and celebrate the untimely death of our fallen hero and King, Chadwick Boseman.
We cover these topics and so much more. What a week it has been. Please remember that the struggle is not won in a day but there are days where progress is made and in order to see the change, we must be the change. Honor those that have done the work before you and set out to continue that work in the best ways you see fit. Again and as always, thanks so much for hanging with us as we unlearn the BS and relearn the good stuff.
