Episode description

In this week’s show our guest is Zachary Foster. He recently finished his Ph.D in Near Eastern Studies at Princeton and has launched a satirical show about the Middle East, his most recent programs are about Palestine and the Saudi Kingdom. Mr. Foster’s dissertation is about the history of the name “Palestine”, history and geography books written about it, maps made of it, and people who identified with it.  He is interested in Palestinian identity and how this term became popular in the early 20th century. He hosts "Middle East Tonight" on YouTube.

We discuss during our program how comedy can be a good way to handle controversial subjects as well as the response of Social Justice Warriors and Propagandists on both sides of the Palestine/Israel issue (one of the topics on his show).
