Episode description
Osei was born in Kitchener, Ontario and spent his early years in his parents’ native
country – Ghana, West Africa. Osei was raised with an attitude of service. It has often
been said that the greatest influence in one’s life is one’s parents. Osei learned at an early
age what it meant to make a commitment, to take person responsibility & to sacrifice by
watching is dad. Disheartened with the level of health care that was being provided in
Ghana, Osei’s father founded a free hospital and to this day oversees management and
staffing. Watching his father taught Osei a valuable life lesson when you are operating
on purpose anything is possible. For over 20 years his father would leave his medical
practice in Cleveland and fly to Ghana, sometimes as frequently as once a month.
