Four episodes ago we wrote a silly Des’Ree gag for this bit which culminated in ‘...this style of football really is unsustainable and cannot be allowed to continue any further’. Well, continue it has. After the car wreck that was the 1 nil home defeat to Burnley, we wonder if Arteta’s reign may be coming to an end. Where did it all go so desperately, horribly wrong? Would even Roy Hodgson be a better bet at this stage, perhaps with Des’Ree as assistant gaffer? The answer is of course a resounding yes.
