On September 20th, we heard from Rotarian and City of Milwaukee Health Commissioner, Kirsten Johnson.
Kirsten addressed what Milwaukee’s Public Health 3.0 plan means in focusing on social determinants of health, racism as a public health issue and the overall priorities she and her team are working to address moving forward. Kirsten also shared the ins and outs of the Milwaukee Health Department’s new strategic plan which includes priorities such as multiple pandemic response, violence, lead, and infant mortality.
