Episode description
Since September is like a new year in Spain. People take advantage of it and restart their lives again.
Most people go back to work or go back to school after a long summer vacation.
In life, there are lots of times when we experience good times and in a snap you'll be dragged back to reality.
Yes. Back to tons of documents and projects to finish. Back to sleepless nights and unhealthy habits.
Can we just restart? I mean when we go back doing the old stuff that we were doing maybe we can tweak it a bit and have a new lease on life.
On my end, I tend to do that. When I stop doing something for quite a long time, I make sure that it's not going to be the exact same thing or exact same way that I was doing before.
For example: Before I had my summer vacation, I tend to have the same routine (EAT.WORK.SLEEP.REPEAT.EAT.WORK.SLEEP.REPEAT) but after realizing that it's somehow a boring one like there's nothing new so I decided to add some healthy tasks in it. Now it's (EAT.WORKOUT.CYCLING.WORK.SLEEP.REPEAT). At least I have tweaked it a bit.
It's not necessary for you to make a very radical change overnight.
How about you? What are the changes that you are planning to do from the normal routine that you had before your vacation? Do you have plans on changing them? Why or why not?
Don't forget to use these vocabulary I used:
1. Tweak - to change something slightly, especially in order to make it more correct, effective, or suitable
2. New lease on life - a chance to continue living or to become successful
3. Radical Change - change that occurs relatively fast
So what are you waiting for? Let's press the button and together, let's restart....
