Doug Katz graduated from The United States Military Academy at West Point in 1993 and served as an Army Artillery Officer after graduation. Following leaving military service, he worked in the telecommunication industry in marketing and operations roles. In 2001, he moved to the lending industry where he served in a variety of positions both as an individual producer and as a leader in large institutions as well as smaller boutique firms and start-ups. He holds a BS from West Point and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. In his spare time, Doug is passionate about fitness, trains in Aikido (2nd Degree Black Belt) and is an aspiring bladesmith. Doug resides in Trout Valley, Illinois with his family and 3 rescue dogs.
