Something I get asked about often is intermittent fasting, and if it’s something I recommend for my clients to be doing. I have my own thoughts on the topic because I’ve actually experienced it myself, and I want to help you decide if it’s right for you on your health and fitness journey.
In today’s episode, I’m talking about:
-My introduction to intermittent fasting
-How my mindset changed the longer I was doing intermittent fasting
-Really digging into WHY you’re wanting to pursue intermittent fasting, and if it makes sense for your health and fitness goals
-Why intermittent fasting may work better for some people compared to others
I really want you to consider why you’re wanting to practice intermittent fasting, especially if you’ve been in that restrictive, ‘all or nothing’ mindset before. Are you wanting to do it in order to be healthier overall, or do you think it will be an ‘easier’ way for you to lose weight?
You may intend to start something with good intentions, but over time, your mindset can change, and it can turn into something negative. Intermittent fasting is definitely not a bad thing, but I want you to have the knowledge and be able to make the right decision for YOU and your health, for the long-term!
